About
Hi! I'm Marco, and I recently completed my PhD in Modeling and Data Science at the University of Turin, Italy. My dissertation, On Exchangeable Partition Ensembles, focuses on Bayesian inferential methods for partition-valued data.
My research lies at the interface of Bayesian nonparametrics, stochastic processes, and random combinatorial structures. During my doctoral work, supervised by Matteo Ruggiero and Dario Spanò, I studied several aspects of Bayesian inference for random partitions, including duality-based inference for hidden Markov models driven by two-parameter Poisson–Dirichlet diffusions.

Education
• PhD in Modeling and Data Science — University of Turin, 2026.
• M.Sc. in Stochastics and Data Science — University of Turin, 2022.

Beyond Research
I grew up in Jesolo, a small town near Venice, in northern Italy.
My passion for music led me to learn electric bass and guitar, explore the basics of music production, mixing and mastering, and eventually record two studio albums with my bands.
During my studies in Milan, I also had the opportunity to cultivate my interest in radio broadcasting as both host and director of programming for the college radio.
